Some troubleshooting tips and review

Edit: Still fiddling with the settings since I got the soundbar and rear speakers. It started badly with intermittent connection issues but after 3 days the rear speakers seem to be more stable. I also struggled to get good sound quality from the rear speakers until I switched to an optical cable instead of the HDMI elbow that came with the speakers. The sound quality when launching apps via the TV (2019 Samsung TV) leaves a lot to be desired. I think most people will find that TVs have bad audio chips. Hence the need for a sound system. The sound system can only do so much with the audio chip in my TV (I think). The moment I launch apps from my Xbox, the sound quality improves at least threefold. I'll try to play with the settings a little more, but I think most people who buy this product may need to run it through a different audio source. Some troubleshooting steps I took were turning the volume on the soundbar all the way up, turning the rear speakers all the way up, changing the TV audio setting to surround, and using an optical cable over HDMI. I don't think the price is great on them, I think you're paying for a brand name, but I would think Samsung speakers would pair well with a Samsung TV. I guess my TV wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Now that I'm running the speakers through my Xbox, I might consider leaving them on. Sounds great, I'll keep testing for a day or two to make sure they stay stable. Edit: It's not entirely clear why, but the rear speakers don't work in certain applications, or turn on and off much more frequently. Namely HBO. I just tried to use the Bluetooth function and connect the speakers to the TV. Seems to have solved the problem
