Ok but the ratchet is larger than 1/4 "

While the open end is .250" the closed end of the ratchet is .275" between the flats. Hex 1/4" (e.g. 1 hex screwdriver / 4 inch) will do, but is sloppy so I give it 2 stars. Use the open end for high torque and the ratchet end for light torque. Makes a nice low profile *very* short/staggered. Wrench in combination with standard 1/4" hex sockets (short sockets without locking).
