Bosch 1617EVS: Will fit but will not fit dip base without modifications

This test/guide is for the Bosch 1617EVS. I've read conflicting reviews about whether it works or not, so here's the definitive answer. I have a set that comes with a dive center that I bought in 2016. When delivered, it fits into the base of the router. You have to flip it to position it correctly, but it works. It doesn't fit the dip bottom (which I blame Bosch), the hole is a little too small. I used a 27/64" bit (you could use 7/16" but that wouldn't be as practical), slightly reamed the holes for the receiver and it works great. Another oddity is that the kit comes with two metric set screws with handles for tightening the jig to the base of the router. They are perfect for the dive base, but not the base of the router. (Again: Bosch, are they different?) You can see in the picture that I'm using a metric set of screws (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01G0E4NTS?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_image) for snap. I think it was an M5. To me a dive socket seems much more practical with being able to set a depth gauge for Dado and plug it in while it's attached to the rail, move it until I press the stop and then pull it in seems to me astonishing.
