I really appreciate a clean and easy mortise lock replacement. We love the locks we have but some of them are broken and I wanted to test them as replacements. Good product. Received my door with exactly one small adjustment. I had to unscrew the locking mechanism and turn the door over because the door swings. I managed to disassemble and understand. There is a diagram of the inside which is helpful but it would also be helpful to include a step by step description of how to open the lock. It's really a small detail. Under $50.00 for a replacement mortise lock that comes with everything you need including screws and drill guide is a great deal. I also liked the silver clean style. This product is a big 10 for me.
