Works with crystals, not recommended for food or skin
The product name says 'cleaned' but what we received was clearly not food or skin safe. We use it to grow crystals and it does grow some pure crystals (Potassium Aluminum Sulfate) but only if you use a coffee filter first to filter out impurities from the solution. Crystals grow in the resulting solution, but also a weird gray-black fluffy thing floating in the solution (mold maybe? who knows), the same color as the black spots that are all over this product. Worked well for my purposes, so I'm giving it 4 stars. I'm not sure what your goal might be, but please stay safe!
