So my husband is installing and here is a review. The carriages' bolt holes did not match and required modifications to get them through. The instructions weren't clear on how many rubber pads were needed. Use both options, although the instructions refer to the singular seal. Directions are weak. Any time an installation needs to be disassembled to reassemble, there are no instructions. I could never have installed this myself and the crafty husband is unfazed by the technique. Hopefully once we have the kayaks on the roof it will work as intended. Remember that folding the frame is not a quick process, not a criticism, just good to know.
