We use these to keep our 40 lb dog in the kitchen when her feet are too dirty to roam around the house. It actually gets a bit stronger so they may not last very long but they are very quick to install and adjust in the door frame. Simply tighten with one hand. I'm 5ft 4" and I need time to step over him without knocking him over.
