This strip is quite thin and invisible. I clipped it to the edge of my white garage door and my wife didn't notice even after I pointed it out. A few small notes: To save battery power, the bar very rarely broadcasts updates. I've turned off temperature and humidity reports (only use as a light sensor), and even with the report set to 'frequent', it only sends a new light reading when the lux reading more than doubles or doubles the previous reading. In my application this is normal (turning the light on at dusk and off at dawn). My other issue is that it comes with a small magnet attached to an unmarked piece of transparent tape. You must remove the magnet to connect (turn on) it to your Z-Wave network. It would have been nice if there had been a colorful label on the tape saying I removed the magnet when unboxing the product instead. By swiping the magnet three times over the product in a specific way, you can wake it up to enable/disable or sync settings. However, it is not that easy to swing the magnet correctly. Overall, I'm happy with it - I needed an outdoor light sensor, and once set up, it does its job perfectly.
