This rangefinder determines the distance very quickly. My old brand range finder is much slower and drains the batteries very quickly. I have used this device for several days and the battery is still fully charged. The price was much cheaper than the well-known brands, and when comparing the distance between the famous brand's device and this one, the distance was the same. At +600 yards it reads within a yard of the brand name. The optics were very clear and I liked the 6x zoom lens.
