I bought this to mount our 26 inch Toshiba TV. The wall outlet should be placed directly behind the unit with power cord access to the TV, which is convenient. My only disappointment is that the small TV mounting plate only fits 75x75mm or 100x100mm. For larger configurations, VESA should be used horizontally and vertical extensions. This shouldn't be a problem on larger TVs, but on smaller TVs the horizontal extensions are clearly visible from almost any angle. My 26" TV has a VESA 200 x 100 configuration and therefore requires the use of extensions. While the system worked for my TV mount, the horizontal arms stick out just far enough to be noticeable and ruin the look of this mount a bit. Since I only had to use the innermost slots on the horizontal extensions for my assembly, I'm considering trimming them down a bit.
