Continuous. Works great with more than just bananas.
Ideal for slicing bananas. The blade is a lot stronger than I thought (instead of little wires like an egg slicer) so I figured I could cut strawberries as well, but most of the berries were too big. But it was strong enough. If you can think of more little things to hack, do it! The quality looks very good. I hand wash to make sure the dish soap doesn't ruin spring faster.
