I have a relatively old record that was "back". I transferred this number plate to my new car. However, it was quite difficult to make the plate sufficiently flat afterwards. I was worried the plate would scratch the paint on my new car. I ended up cutting out a yoga mat and putting it between my plate and my car. The yoga mat didn't stand up to summer/rain/washing etc. This silicone "case" is the perfect solution. I don't have to deal with that again. He protects my car. It gives a clean look to a shabby old plate. And it doesn't "rattle" the record under any conditions. This set contains two. My state requires only one plate. So I was able to conjure up one on my wife's plate. I highly recommend this product.
