lines were accurate but not bright enough. I lined the bathroom with mosaic tiles and a 1/8 inch grout line. Sunlight streaming through the window made it difficult to see the laser line from about two meters away from the instrument. I sealed the window with box tape and just turned on the overhead light and then the lines in the 14 foot bathroom were clearly visible. I know the laser isn't rated for outdoor use so I'm not disappointed, but the ambient sunlight from the window shouldn't be causing the problems it was causing. Using a ceiling light with a single bulb made it difficult to understand what I was doing, combing the thin rows and keeping the pattern on the mosaic.
