Review on Alpine UTE-73BT Advanced Bluetooth Mech-Less Digital Media Receiver: Ultimate Wireless Audio Solution (CD-Free) by George Hersey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Don't miss this unit.

Two years ago I had a two din stereo ($350). It didn't last long and it won't connect to my phone. While he had many options, there was no point if he didn't log in. Nowadays our phones evolve and our head units become obsolete within a year or two. This is nobody's fault because they are two different entities. This time I came back to a dean who wanted to "downgrade". The only thing I missed was the rear camera function and the presence of an equalizer with many sound settings. For the price I paid I got the best sound from this unit and I would recommend it. My first stereo was an Alpine when I was 18. Now I'm 33 and I'm not disappointed. I don't know why I turned them down. I had 3 stereos with this one and the first 2 still work wirelessly. Bluetooth doesn't cut it for high quality. I did some research and if you want hi-fi sound you are spending over $600 and I agree. I will use my phone's speaker. When I used the BT function on the phone, everything was clear and my cousin said he could hear everything. Alpine advertises pure sound and I agree. I may have posted it here. Anyway, we're having a good time because the developers now understand our needs on all $levels$. I love this head unit and cannot take a single star from it.
