Got the lens hood straight, put it on to see the field of view and WOW! I really like how much you see around you; However, the sliders above don't change the hue in any way, and unfortunately the Sensitivity slider doesn't do anything either. I have a very bright flashlight that I use to check my other hoods have battery life and go dark before I weld anything and this didn't even register light to begin with so I started playing with it, pointing it directly at sensors to judge. It turned out that two sensors were not working. I decided to do a test run with real welding and the main screen sometimes flickers and the lens has several different shades; the right side is hue 10 and the left side is hue 8. Because of this, it creates depth distortion and is not at all easy on the eyes. I really wanted to love this hood and make it the only hood I have. ever buy, but the cons far outweigh the pros (HUGE viewing scope). I'm considering getting my money back but would like to spend a few more days with him to see if he fixes himself. UPDATE: Screen glitches have caused me to keep getting flashes in front of my eyes. What a waste of money.
