Comfort, blackout speed, clarity, field of view

This welding helmet is definitely one of the best. I've tried countless different helmets on the market, from cheap to super expensive, and this one blows them all into the water. It has very good clarity and color reproduction, and thanks to the side windows and extra-large front main window, the viewing area is huge. Switching from light to dark is very quick and the picture remains very clear even when dimmed. It's definitely worth the money. Don't hesitate if you are looking for a newโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Has been damaged

This mask is excellent

I took a welding class in high school and have done a lot in the 30 years since, but I have never practiced or certified professionally. I would say that I am a very good amateur welder. I bought this mask because my various adjustable auto-darkening masks always give me trouble seeing the work. Either the hue is wrong (even adjustable) or it's such a wrong color that I just can't always tell which is which. I should point out that I'm basically color blind. My kids have asked why I need a full

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • New competition has emerged

The view is beautiful but the flickering is driving me insane.

I don't really NEED a panoramic helmet but I thought it was a cool innovation and for the price I wanted to try it. There were times when I thought a larger viewing area would be nice and not as claustrophobic as it is. This vantage point is huge! In theory, I could just leave this hood open while working for hours and it wouldn't bother me. Here's the rub: the auto-dimming electronic flash. If you're working outdoors, it will highlight the slightest glare or sunlight anywhere in the field ofโ€ฆ

Pros
  • 1 spare lens inside right
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Great idea, horrible execution

Got the lens hood straight, put it on to see the field of view and WOW! I really like how much you see around you; However, the sliders above don't change the hue in any way, and unfortunately the Sensitivity slider doesn't do anything either. I have a very bright flashlight that I use to check my other hoods have battery life and go dark before I weld anything and this didn't even register light to begin with so I started playing with it, pointing it directly at sensors to judge. It turned out

Pros
  • 1 interchangeable inner lens on the left
Cons
  • No power

wow look Best head protection

Okay this is going to take a minute as I hate short "great helmet" reviews that don't say you have to crouch. This is Panoram "B" (there is an "A" version (more money and not much difference) not offered by Revain or Tool Guy Republic). The helm has a huge viewing platform, not counting the sides. It's clean and bright under all DIN conditions, a slight bluish tint when welding (perhaps due to my welding arc) that brings out the peaks and valleys (rather than the green tint that most filtersโ€ฆ

Pros
  • 1 interchangeable lens in the middle
Cons
  • Slightly torn
