Installed on a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland with a power liftgate. You can find an installation video on Youtube, but it's quite simple. Simply use a flat head screwdriver to slide the retaining ring to the open position on each end of the old jack, remove the retaining ring, slide the retaining ring to the open position on the new jack, tap the ball anchor and slide the retaining rings back in back locked position. The problem with the sagging of the trunk has been solved.
