Few people need this viewer in this digital age, but I have hundreds of slides from years ago that I wanted to scan. I needed a way to display slides from potential candidates in a small space and show them to my kids while I worked on them. My parents have owned the Pana-View for decades, so I bought it. Runs on a wall transformer or C-cell batteries which last a long time and show lots of detail so you can see dust or issues with every slide. This viewer shows one slide at a time in full screen mode, not as fast as the tray style or light table where you can fit a dozen or more slides at once, but they don't zoom in on the slide to view them and you end up looking at them twice for the same effect. Simple, efficient, no moving parts to wear out and well made. Very happy with this product.
