Review on Planet Audio TRQ623 Torque Speakers by Thasapon Bowers

I installed them on the back of my '99 Saturn. Considering their price I thought they were cheap but I thought they would be a little better if they had a decent brand name. After installing them, they sounded so bad I even double-checked to see if I'd plugged them in out of phase. There really is no bass. I realize I wouldn't get a case full of bass subwoofers out of a cheap 6.5, but I would have thought there would be. Everything about them is cheap, including the mounting parts. It really is a "you get what you pay for" clause. If you need speakers that you don't need, you just need sound, then they will do. But I wish I'd spent the extra $5-10, especially since changing them isn't the easiest thing in the world.
