Mediocre quality. on pipe fittings

quality spotty. I connected them with 1/4 black steel tubing for a hobby light project. I would say that 25% - 30% doesn't add up. As I will be using the 1/8" lamp tube on the side to stabilize the cartridge, it's not a big deal, just a bit disappointing. Maybe I'm not winding them on a classic cast iron pipe or a quality issue. I noticed a lot of uneven castings (burrs, etc.). I think they are suitable for my needs.
