I got these for use in an aftermarket car blind spot system. Off label but if you cut the wires and apply 5V it becomes a very handy form factor for all sorts of applications. I ended up trimming the flexible diffuser and it worked exactly the same. Then, hidden in a narrow plate gap, it practically disappears until power is applied. My only complaint is the obscene price. Materials can't cost more than $0.50, and yet you can all see the price here... Luckily for them, Revain runs more reliably than other vendors, which can take months to ship.
