Review on Beck Arnley 201 1807 Ignition Starter by Diztymewntu Sacra

My '94 Honda Accord has had trouble starting in the past.

My '94 Honda Accord has been having trouble starting for the past few months. I had to turn the key several times to start the engine. Most of the time when the key was in the start position I only heard a "click" sound and nothing else happened. The Honda started easier in cold temperatures, but it took several turns of the key to start the engine after a long drive or in high temperatures. You can find several videos on how to change the ignition switch on your Honda Accord on YouTube. com. The difficulty was loosening the 2 bolts/screws holding the ignition switch to the steering wheel. The switch is supplied without a screw. However, you can find a regular replacement screw at many local hardware stores. It has a diameter of 8mm, a screw pitch of 125 and a screw length of 14mm (M8, 14mm). Unfortunately, after replacing the switch, my car still doesn't start properly, although the clicking noise gets louder. Either way, it's worth replacing and I believe the old switch is nearing the end of its life. I finally solved my Honda's starting problem by replacing the old starter motor with a used one.

Pros
  • Switches and Relays
Cons
  • Obsolete Model
