Good magnetic mount with wireless charging for the price. To me it's a wireless charger and not necessarily a Magsafe charger as it's not 100% certified, just compatible. But I knew what was going on. Magnetic Hold: AMAZING! I have an ESR Halolock transparent case and this mount holds the phone very well (iphone 12 pro), I don't expect any problems with the MAX. Holds up well even without the case, but feels a little loose compared to the Halolock case. Fastening function: Good. The plastic mount looks cheap at first glance, but feels solid and I don't expect any issues. Mount Base: This mount has a "sticky" material for attaching to the dashboard or windshield. I'm afraid to use it directly on the windshield so as not to leave marks when removing the mount. I installed it on a dash where I have a mounting plate from a previous mount. Charging: There are no problems with the iPhone 12 Pro, the phone recognized the charger and started charging. Style: OK, I would have liked a smaller charger plate. It's a bit big, with an iPhone 12+ case I can still see the charging plate, wish it disappeared behind the phone. Hopefully ESR will make a smaller version in the future. I also wish the USB port was on the back of the charger so the cable isn't visible. The cable is currently sticking out at the bottom, so it doesn't look very good. I ordered a rectangular USB-C cable, I hope that the device will look better with this cable. Overall I am happy with the charger and look forward to using it on my drives.
