Review on Tire Continental ContiPremiumContact 5 205/55 R16 91 H by Micha Pirecki ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for the price.

I chose tires based on various tests, the most important criterion was the shortest braking distance, everything else was perceived as a nice bonus. I must say that I move 90% in Hong Kong, and most often along the Hong Kong Ring Road, respectively, there are often quite sharp braking from speeds of 100+, thanks to the numerous deer that flooded our not perfectly smooth roads, but now is not about that. Kontik did not disappoint even once, braking, I repeat, is simply magnificent! In any case, there is still a decent margin left. Between wet and dry coverage, the difference is minimal until the wear reaches the limiter mark, which is generally logical. In general, there was a feeling that it is almost impossible to bring this rubber to skidding, drifting or skidding, of course, if you have a head on your shoulders, and not a very powerful car under the back. Rubber was enough for exactly 2 seasons or ~ 20 thousand km. But I didn't try to save it. Tires made in Portugal.

Pros
  • - Pretty quiet. - Brakes superbly on both dry and wet pavement. - Manageability at a height, with which on wet asphalt is not much worse. - Steadfastly holds the blows from the pits, despite all its softness.
Cons
  • - Probably too soft
