These fixtures worked out well for my installation. The larger 36" fixture took considerably longer to ship than others. This is really not for DIY installation unless your cabinets are already hardwired for lighting. Even so, you still need some knowledge of home wiring methods. I would prefer that they would ditch the old fluorescent-style housing and come up with something that has 180 degrees of light output when mounted, but the diffuser spreads the light to about 120 degrees. This is a great alternative to low voltage if you don't have a place for a transformer. They come in many sizes, so you can generally find a fit for any cabinet by mixing sizes. Prices are a little steep compared with some low voltage LEDs. Good compatibility with most LED wall switch dimmers makes this a good choice since you aren't stuck with in-line dimmers. Many low voltage dimmable LEDs only work with in-line corded low voltage dimmers or require special dimmable transformers.
