16W 24In Dimmable LED Under Cabinet Task Lighting W/ CRI>90, 3000K (Warm White), Frost Lens - Long Lasting Metal Base Review

I replaced some old under cabinet kitchen lighting with these LED lights. Much different and brighter in a good way. I ended up installing a dimmer toggle switch for these lights, as they were very bright at night. I'm a single lady with experience in replacing/installing various types of light fixtures. I didn't have a problem installing the 24" and 36" fixtures myself. The knockouts weren't in the right place for one of the fixtures, but drilling out a new hole was easy. All the wires fit…

This was nearly perfect except for one major problem. it has mostly knockouts smaller than a typical 1/2" knockout (which are easy to find). It only comes with one so if you need to wire multiple fixtures in series, you're mostly out of luck (unless you buy a pack of them off ebay, and they can't be used elsewhere). I had to use a drill to ream one side out to add a 1/2" knockout to make my setup work (it does have one. squarely in the middle). Beyond that, the light my counters really well.

I purchased this light in dec 2019. It’s now July 2022. and this light has reached the end of its life. It’s been turned on for maybe 15/20 mins a day. Thus I can be assured it didn’t even reach 1000hrs of use since I purchased it. I get it. all these led lights are the same trash. I have never owned an led light that’s even come close to its stated lifespan. But this is the first review I’m leaving a comment about the light because it’s trash imo. I purchased 2, 21” wide, and 1 12” wide. 1 21”

After a bit of a struggle with the first, figuring out how to disassemble and install, these are a snap to install and work very well.To improve, increase length of green ground wire by 4"

The functionality when the dimmer was installed failed to work. The eight installed units work at 100 % bright light and do not respond to the dimmer switch.

These are much brighter than our halogen we were replacing, went from a dull yellow glow to white light. Due to the existing wire placement, installing these were not easy but no fault of the product.

Don’t know why they list motion detection as an attribute. It doesn’t apply. This is a switched under-cabinet light. Replaced and older fluorescent lightbulb one. Much better and very bright.

Easy to install with plenty of light output. Replaced an OLD fluorescent fixture.May have to switch out our kitchen counter lights since these, work so well.Highly recommended.

It is tricky getting the front apart so you can access the wiring and connectors. Other wise works good. That's my review!

I used these for under counter lighting in the kitchen. They have many sizes to fit any application. I used a variety of sizes to complete the job. I also bought the 3000k which I find pleasing. Just a bit whiter vs incandescent but not the sharper white of 4000 or 5000k. That is a preference issue. I liked them so much that I will install in a few other locations, like the hallway closet.

I got this to replace an older led light from probably 2005. Light is bright and was easy to install. I have it hooked up to a dimmer light switch and it doesn't really work smoothly with it but I don't really use the dimmer switch so it doesn't really matter to me I just wanted to test it out. Not sure if it's because of the switch being from 2005 or if it's the light itself.

The Romex connector, Wire nuts, and screws were not in the package. I did not need them so it made no difference to me. But, that is why I reduced the rating by one star. Several knockouts are unusually small. I needed to use the end one and it was one of those small ones. So, metal work was required. Other than those minor problems, this is a good quality fixture. We are pleased with the end result.

Description says that the color range is soft white, but there is a blue tinge and feels more like a cool white. I wish there was a switch to select some other color options.

Came in a timely fashion. Was easy to install and LED very bright, much brighter than the old one it replaced. Very pleased with it and good price.

I am fairly experienced with installations of this type, but this was more difficult than it should have been. The main reason was that both the ground and the black wire were too short for the far right cutout. I was forced to pig tail an extra length of wire for each. This should never happen and was not reflective of a well engineered fixture. Once installed, the the light was plenty bright and looks good. It would have been much better if all wires were extra long and just trimmed to length

This was a replacement for my old florescent tube fixture that was installed above the kitchen sink. This light is cheaply made. When comparing to my old fixture the sheet metal is about half the thickness and very "flexible” which made it very difficult to put together. Understanding this was in a very awkward position but a lot harder than it should have been. Now that it’s installed it looks good and works so I gave it three stars. Works well, very bright. I installed 3 12” units and 1 36” unit. All work great. The metal is kind of flimsy and cheap, and the way it’s held together but little metal lips isn’t the best, but once you get installed they seem to work good.

These fixtures worked out well for my installation. The larger 36" fixture took considerably longer to ship than others. This is really not for DIY installation unless your cabinets are already hardwired for lighting. Even so, you still need some knowledge of home wiring methods. I would prefer that they would ditch the old fluorescent-style housing and come up with something that has 180 degrees of light output when mounted, but the diffuser spreads the light to about 120 degrees.
