As described, delivery time 1 day. Many Thanks. Mounted on a Model WA-14 Central Machine Woodcutting 14" Band Saw which I purchased in June 1983 (age 36). It still had the original .125" thick, 1" wide rubber bands. These new straps are 0.95 inch thick. which are slightly thicker than the depth of the ring gear groove. As a result, the metal edges are slightly below the belt. Yes, hot water helps a bit, but the belt will cool down quickly if it touches the metal wheel. So the real installation trick is to use the C-clamps to hold the belt to the wheel while the last half of the belt is pulled onto the wheel. C-Clamps clamp the edges of the wheel, and the edges of the clamps provide a lip to prevent the straps from slipping off. I could then use a couple of large flat head screwdrivers pressed against the edge of the wheel to pull the strap all the way out. Anyway, it did a quick installation job. Once the belt is on the wheel I could use a razor blade to line up the belt joint, which is probably what you need if you don't want the rapping discussed elsewhere.
