Boring and boring in Power and Hand Tools

Metal Hole Saw: $41.99 at time of review. I'm a project person. D why? Because I love being close. But something I look for more often than I thought is a hole saw set. This set seemed like a good option to me, so here we go. *What I liked*: The tote bag is not of the highest* quality, but it does its job well. Smaller parts are held in place by tension and the various hole saws are held together by the two plastic sides. Drills are quite easy to use. You simply select the hole saw size you want and screw it onto the appropriate jig/drill. It's worth noting that you'll need a screwdriver to pry the dirt out of the hole saw and loosen it from the drill bit. *What I didn't like*: Unfortunately, the few sizes I tried were pretty boring. . I've used them on both pressure treated wood and MDF and both applications took a lot more time (and pressure) than I would like, but... they worked. * Verdict: * This set should work for your needs, albeit slowly. I've only used it on wood but I think it will be even slower on metal. Squeezing the drill to force contact seemed to help, but not enough. Three out of five stars for boring but technically working beats. I wouldn't order them again though.
