Review on Red Head High-Performance SDS Plus Drill Bit by Brad Knierim

I was looking for an inexpensive mortar bit to drill about 15 holes (2" deep) in my anchor pool deck. The chisel went through the first hole quickly (less than 2 minutes) but the time increased as the bit began to dull. Once I drilled the 10th hole it took about 20 minutes and the drill was DONE. I'm not sure if that's good or bad for an exercise like this, but I expected to be able to complete the job. To count, I only drilled 20 inches with this bit before it became unusable. Now I need a drill press to finish this little project and I'm not sure I'll buy the same one again.
