Transparent Background
This was my very first embroidery and although it was fairly simple and only consisted of 2-3 stitches, the fabric is transparent and very thin so the underlying floss is visible and mistakes will not be forgiven. I felt that trying to hide the thread behind the pattern was the hardest part and it also took a little while for the pattern to wash off. Overall, I liked the result, and even after I edited out my many mistakes, there was still a lot of extra thread left! I only highly recommend considering a transparent background if you're new to embroidery like me.
