Review on ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ DORMAN 82570 HELP! Tensioner Pulley Shield - The Ultimate Protection for Your Vehicle's Tensioner Pulley by Narendra Thapa

Easy enough for a girl like me to install

The product arrived at the store in a padded envelope. I actually bought two of these for my 2006 Chrysler Town and Country. One was for the idler pulley, the other for the idler pulley. Both are easy to install. However, note that if you are installing two pulley covers on this model, you will need to install the pulley cover on the idler pulley, then REMOVE the idler pulley, loosen the tension on the belt by pulling the idler pulley forward, and then make sure your belt is up closely. Track and install the idler pulley and shield at the same time, tighten the bolt before tensioning the belt. All in all a great product as a belt if it doesn't slide well off the pulleys when wet. It whistles, the belt moves, but the shield prevents it from coming off the pulley. I recommend this for a cheap and easy repair for this particular model rather than replacing the motor mount or buying a threaded washer and double sided belt.
