It works! in Power Pulleys

I love this product! Now my son can ride in the rain without having to reinstall the seat belt. Under rain! The best $10 I've spent in a long time!

It works well! on drive pulleys

I have a 99 Chrysler T&C 3.3 engine, when I put two guards on the tensioner and idler pulleys, I replace the poly V-belt, I run it in heavy rain and I get in puddles of water and it slips does not fall off, and the belt holds up in the rain and works well. And passes the exam. good shields.

Try this before you spend hundreds.

The ribbed V-belt in my caravan kept slipping when it was wet. Twice had to be towed to the store but the store manager could not solve the problem. After spending hundreds on unsuccessful "fixes" I went online and found out about this pulley guard. It was easy to install and my V-ribbed belt hasn't slipped since.

Great product as a belt slip mod for Ford Taurus

I chose this product because my 2002 Fors Taurus serpentine belt keeps slipping. This problem is also known after replacing many parts. Nothing fixed the slip when hitting puddles in the rain. This is a great way to solve this problem once and for all. This product does not appear to work with Dodge vehicles and I wanted to confirm that it does indeed work with my Ford Taurus 02.

Incorrect attachment of the pulleys

Bought two of these to install the idler pulley and idler pulleys. It worked for a moment, but after checking by spraying water from a spray bottle, the belt really wanted to slip, but it hit it and the belt was out of alignment. on the pulleys and then spraying with water and revving the engine gently up to 2000 rpm would eventually break the belt. If you need to keep the belt from slipping off the tensioner/idler, this is a temporary solution at best. , and generally not ideal for long-term…

Easy enough for a girl like me to install

The product arrived at the store in a padded envelope. I actually bought two of these for my 2006 Chrysler Town and Country. One was for the idler pulley, the other for the idler pulley. Both are easy to install. However, note that if you are installing two pulley covers on this model, you will need to install the pulley cover on the idler pulley, then REMOVE the idler pulley, loosen the tension on the belt by pulling the idler pulley forward, and then make sure your belt is up closely. Track…

Droman Pulley Guard

I installed a Dorman tensioner guard on my 2000 Chrysler T&C. I was intrigued by the negative review and decided to try the water myself. I poured two cups of water in the drive/idle area and nothing happened. So I poured two more glasses directly onto the idler pulley and the belt still hasn't come loose. But a lot of squeaks and strange noises. Before that, the belt broke twice due to water spray from the road surface. After I reinstalled the plastic fender under the engine from the belt…

Works, subject to change.

As advertised. Prevents the V-ribbed belt from slipping off a smooth pulley on which it is fitted. Note that it does NOT rotate with the pulley but is fixed. Also, when installing on a 1996 thru 2000 Caravan/Voyager minivan, the head of the included bolt is too high to allow for the removal of the GearWrench serpentine belt installation tool when installing on the idler pulley. However, you can remove the tool from the bolt head by loosening the two 15mm bolts holding the passenger side motor…
