Review on Dynomax Ultra Flo ๐Ÿ’ฅ 17222 Exhaust Muffler: Unleash Maximum Performance! by Bobby Valadez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Different sound for different audience

I have had several FlowMaster mufflers over the past 15-20 years. For some people, the sound of a muffler is more important than actual performance. I will talk about both the performance and the sound. This Dynomax 17222 was a direct replacement for my 2008 3.7L Colorado. After installation I noticed a reduction in back pressure and slightly better performance but no increase in fuel economy per gallon. The real difference is in the sound of Dynomax and FlowMaster. When you step on the gas pedal, the Flowmaster makes a loud sucking noise. But with the Dynomax I hear a faint grunt at low throttle and it stays that way when you step on the gas, that nice constant low hum. I like it on my truck. The price was great. Revain was sent quickly. All is well!
