This is a very good sharpener with some great features. It's quieter than I expected and quite small but feels very solid; It also looks a lot better than a lot of other electric pencil sharpeners, which I find are often pretty pathetic to look at and want to be tucked away in a drawer where they're less visible. and less useful when you're trying to work and always have a sharp pencil handy. The dots come out very smooth and perfect, also very fast, just touch up a little when you bind to keep the perfect tip when drawing or writing with pencils; It's much faster than manual sharpening and you'll get better results too. I love that this feature allows you to adjust the sharpness and that it is very easy to use and the instructions that came with the device are simple and clear that I was able to use it as soon as I opened it. The best thing for me is that you can use a cord or batteries. I prefer to use batteries as you can protect your desk from cords, but I don't want them to run out instantly when I need to use the sharpener and having a cord as a backup is very handy. Many Thanks.
