Review on Versatile GPX BCA206S Portable Boombox: AM/FM, CD & Cassette Player in One by Amanda Johnston

I use the Boom Box in my bedroom to play tapes or CDs at night when I can't sleep. Also use it when the seasons change, when I put away my winter clothes and take out my spring clothes - a job I dread at every change of season. Music helps me cope with the dreadful task of picking things up and putting them away. According to other reviewers, the "stereo" sound was great for such a small device, which I disagree with. It doesn't sound like good "stereo" at all, but for what I use it for, it works great for me. It is also compact, lightweight and easy to take with you on vacation or to a nursing home. I will be volunteering at a local nursing home to bring spiritual tapes for patients to listen to. The boombox is the perfect size and weight to transport from my apartment. to an external building. The only downside I didn't like was that the function button to switch from CD to cassette or radio is on the left side of the unit instead of on the top where it would be much more visible. Every time I need to switch from CD to cassette or vice versa, I either have to turn on the flash to see the page or physically move the box so I can see the function button.
