One of them didn't work properly
They do what they say, they sharpen different lengths of wood. One works fine. On the other, when I first rotated the dial (the dial also opens it up to allow a pencil to go in, and when it's closed the shavings stay in), the hole stayed open, and no matter how I rotated the dial, it didn't close. It also doesn't provide good blade-to-wood contact, so it takes many turns to sharpen a pencil. Three stars because one works and the other is defective in my opinion.
