Review on Logitech G G603 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse, Black by Stanislaw Malkinski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything in the purchase suits, a very necessary product.

Special thanks to Logitech for their attentiveness and the presence of batteries in the kit. It really is a Plug&Play product. Additionally, I will add: one of the reasons for changing the mouse was the incorrect operation of the previous one. For some unknown reason, when even a slight pressure on the mouse was accidentally pressed (pressed into the carpet), the sensor stopped reading and the mouse could completely stop on the screen when it was physically moved over the carpet. This was not the case with the second available mouse. The new mouse works perfectly, no such problems are observed. Works great on existing surfaces (carpet and painted table).

Pros
  • Many of the significant advantages are already described in the characteristics. For my part, I will tell you the following: of course, the mouse was delivered quickly, there were no problems with delivery. The mouse came without any defects - everything works, everything is fine. By functionality: I chose a mouse with the ability to connect in several ways (radio for a computer, bluetooth for a tablet). This is almost the only mouse with this parameter that suits me personally. I also looked at analogues of other companies, but I did not even find equal alternatives. The second decisive moment is software for poppy. Of all the selected mice with suitable other parameters, only this mouse had software for poppy. The third, no less important point is the cost. In the price segment below, nothing suitable was simply found. In the price segment above - of course, there are suitable models, but I did not find a single weighty criterion in favor of their choice and overpayment (the price differs by an order of magnitude). Further on the merits in the mouse itself: - I was pleasantly surprised by the presence of omron switches in the main buttons (I don’t know what is in the side buttons) - A very important advantage is the ability to work on a single battery. This allows you to balance the mouse within certain limits and control its weight. Two batteries were too heavy for me. I placed one on the left side (the left one turned out to be preferable for balancing). - the mouse wheel is very pleasant in terms of tactile response and quite quiet - a very small, but aesthetically pleasing plus was the discovery of the fastening of the top cover on magnets. Very simple, nice and functional. On software: despite looking for a mouse with software specifically for Mac, I have never used peripheral software to its full potential, so this part will not be so meaningful. I can only note a fairly large number of settings, which include the ability to set up to 5 DPI levels (switched with the mouse button), the ability to configure buttons for a fairly large number of different functions, as well as macros.
Cons
  • I have not yet found any significant and serious shortcomings. After two weeks of use both in work and in games, the mouse is still perfect. Of the formal shortcomings (if someone really wants to find fault) - not everything is perfect in terms of the UI design of the application (the most noticeable is that the buttons for closing, minimizing and expanding the application are not in their places). But this is the only thing I could find, and it does not affect the operation of either the mouse or the software.
