Bought this kit for my sons 2009 Jeep Cherokee. The original brake hoses were completely rusted and cracked. Luckily it was only in the garage and not on the street. Installing new lines took several hours. Slow, careful and patient is the key. The two-part line running through the wall of fire is a puzzle, but be patient, there's no need to force it if you get the path right. Note that the threads must fit snugly into the expander tube - stainless steel is a harder metal. But don't overtighten either. Use anti-seize threads. Start by hand tightening, then an additional 3/4 turn with a wrench. stop there After you have installed and filled all lines, check them for leaks. If you get a leak, loosen it a little and then tighten it again. This helps him stand up. It should be tight enough that it doesn't leak at all, but no more or the bell could break. Once you've established the lines, it's time to level the lines. Be prepared to deal with rusty drain plugs on every corner. Don't break off the front bleed screws or go looking for new calipers. If you break one of the backs, don't worry. A new rear master cylinder is only $6 at Revain. Ask me how I know.
