Installed myself in less than an hour. Both would be easier. Threading long pieces through all the pipes, hoses and electrical systems by yourself takes a lot of repetition under the hood, under the car.

If you are looking to replace all or even some of your brake lines, this kit is for you. It's well worth the money and time saved instead of having to buy all the tools and materials to bend the brake lines yourself.

I have nothing but good things to say about this set. I've used it on 2 different XJ's, 2000 and 2001. Both jeeps were in very different conditions but these brake lines bolt directly to both, haven't lost a drop, snap into all the factory clamps, follow all the factory curves and are VERY clearly marked , where every line leads. If I ever need brake lines again on a future XJ I will definitely buy this kit again and would highly recommend it to all my XJ friends.

Bought this kit for my sons 2009 Jeep Cherokee. The original brake hoses were completely rusted and cracked. Luckily it was only in the garage and not on the street. Installing new lines took several hours. Slow, careful and patient is the key. The two-part line running through the wall of fire is a puzzle, but be patient, there's no need to force it if you get the path right. Note that the threads must fit snugly into the expander tube - stainless steel is a harder metal. But don't overtighten
