The older I get the convenience of slip on shoes, buckleless belts, magnetic watch bands. Not sure about the others but I've had no issues with the band staying on during my day to day activities. I'm very active outside and short of getting it hung on something, mine hasn't come off yet. I prefer that it would come off in a situation like that as opposed to breaking the watch or my wrist. I wish there were more colors but that's my only complaint.
