I love this float. My daughter is only 15 months old and only weighs 20 pounds so she doesn't technically qualify for this, but it was as close as you can get. She is small but loves to swim so I needed something to protect her. It's obviously a bit big for them, but it still works. She didn't like it at first because it restricted the movement of her arms, but she got used to it. She's brave and jumps straight into the pool, but in this one I feel more comfortable with her in the water because jumping without an adult keeps her afloat until I can reach her. It was a bit of a learning curve for her to figure out how to keep her legs/feet behind her so she can swim on her stomach, otherwise it looks like she's turning on her back too. But she quickly got used to it. Now she loves to wear it and swim alone.
