Good selection but a "fatal " error

It's not a bad, bad, bad set, but it's not outstanding either. If you keep a crib in the garage, this set will likely be able to handle most of what you throw at it. But. BUT! There are limitations, and quite significant ones, when it comes to the smallest of details: the cap end of wrenches curves too much from the face, causing short headed bolts to CONSTANTLY be thrown out of the wrench. NO. COLD. I threw all the wrenches along with the other wrenches. They live in a tray in the toolboxes installed in my truck and I usually use wrenches once a day (farm) or at least once a week. I just dig around and get the sizes I need regardless of the brand. Every... EVERY time the ring end of a wrench slipped off a bolt, it was one of those wrenches. every time So that's my biggest complaint. Other cons: - The body is full of junk but since I packed everything in truck crates I didn't care. - The crescent-shaped key is too small to be really useful. I wish they had wire cutters or a pair of locks instead. Pros: - I LOVE that you get 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 sockets in one set. - Bits and bit drivers are a good addition. - Deep sockets without spark plugs are also a good addition.

Pros
  • Incredible access from narrow head combination wrenches, adjustable wrenches and pliers, and low profile quick release ratchets
Cons
  • Nothing here
