The inner door paneling must be removed for installation.

I mistakenly thought the install would involve snapping the old one in and snapping the new one in. NO! Inner door panel needs to be removed, speakers need to be disabled etc. I am a 65 year old female and I did not feel comfortable doing this on my own so I had to ask my son for help.
