Where's it been all my life? I never knew they existed until I looked here for a scope. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this design. I lose 1-2 scope caps a year x 4 rifles. This item is exactly what I needed. It fully protects the entire area, better than any other I've tried. It retracts easily and fully when you need a scope. Seems very solid so I don't see any issues and it will remain one of the scopes if needed or not and never left alone in the field. I would give 8 stars if I could. I will no doubt buy one for each rifle.
