I really like the idea and my cases have survived one hunting season so far. One thing I noticed pretty early on was that the fabric and foam started to wear out near stress points in the design. In the end I sewed the edges and now it holds up better.

Works great. Everyone should know that these are actually 2 pieces of elastic material. One piece slides onto the front end, the other onto the back end. The part in the photo looks like it has a handle that won't open. You slide the whole piece up and it stays in sight. I thought it was a one-piece case when I ordered it, but I'm happy with what I got.

Where's it been all my life? I never knew they existed until I looked here for a scope. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this design. I lose 1-2 scope caps a year x 4 rifles. This item is exactly what I needed. It fully protects the entire area, better than any other I've tried. It retracts easily and fully when you need a scope. This pouch is much better than the regular elastic plastic pouch that comes with most rifles. I really dislike carrying plastic covers in the field because they are difficult to take off and put back on. And they must be put aside because they are not attached to the rifle. This cap is easy to put on and take off and always stays connected to the rifle. There's no way you can forget them on a tree stand!
