Excellent drill bits at a great price. I was able to drill through 6 pieces of 1/4" sea glass with no problem before the bit started to dull. Works much better than other diamond bits I've used in the past. Will definitely buy them again. I wish only you could make a few more bits before the drill bit isn't good.I have used the pyrex plate and sponge method when drilling glass, you want the glass to be cool so it doesn't overheat and crack.I have a dremel 4300 used with these bits which have glass placed on a sponge in a shallow bowl of pyrex water, you want the water to just cover the piece of glass, do not submerge the drill/dremel and slowly break through the glass without too much pressure the drill will do all the work for you if you apply constant slow pressure and the sponge will keep you from hitting the bottom of the pan when piercing the glass hope this helps vie l Fun drilling!
