This is an amazing product that works as advertised. Deserves a 5 star rating. However, as a senior electronics technician with 30 years of experience testing and evaluating the latest military fixed wing fighter/attack aircraft, I replaced their poor quality nickel plated fasteners with class 8 bolts, washers, and self-locking nuts that cost about $20. Stainless steel mounting screws, washers and self-locking nuts; and a few tubes of anti-corrosion sealant to seal everything before installation and prevent moisture from getting between the plastic and metal (which can cause rust). NON-CORROSIVE SEALANTS do not smell like vinegar. Have a bucket of soapy water (e.g. for washing dishes) and a rag ready to wipe off excess sealant after installation. The same soapy water can be used to smooth the edge with your finger for a professional look; Just wet your fingers with soapy water. If you immediately wipe your hands with a clean, dry cloth, the seal should come off easily. Then just wash your hands at the end. It would be better if this was done with a door covering the control panel; which is made from some type of vinyl and will degrade over time in the sun to the point where it will fog up heavily and become opaque.
