Review on Ignition Motorcycle Switch CMX250 1985 2014 Replacement Parts by John Taylor

I bought this for my 2008 Honda Rebel 250. Everything fits perfectly. The only issue I had was the wiring in the ignition which was easily fixed. There are 2 black wires that need to be connected together for grounding. The red one goes to the power supply while the other two are connected to the ignition fuse and control panel. My advice is to cut the plugs off the old switch so you can quickly unplug them from the new one. There are enough cords to get the job done, and anyone with even the slightest knowledge of a multimeter and a soldering iron can get it done in under an hour. Be sure to use heat shrink tubing on the solder joints to ensure waterproofing. Absolutely worth the price, do not buy from the dealer! No problems so far after over a month of rainy weather and my bike is my daily rider
