These pliers are relatively thin and make you wonder how useful they would be, but that thinness actually gives them an advantage when grabbing screws in hard-to-reach places. Channel locking mechanism fits a variety of sizes. These tongs definitely punch above their weight. However, the key lock is a bit difficult to master. I really wish the pens were a little smaller so they're more comfortable to carry and you can make corrections on the fly. If you need to go back to the store to get a tool, you can also buy the right size sockets and wrenches. I still use these pliers instead of regular pliers or an adjustable wrench, however, as these pliers are less likely to round the bolt.
