They will not work with thicker good quality Aida!
They will not work with the Aida fabric that came with the Dimensions cross stitch kit I purchased. The tires have a prominent protrusion that protrudes all the way around the inner tire and then a notch all the way around the outer hoop. Once you place the fabric on the inner frame, you cannot pinch the fabric enough to fit the notch on the outer frame. I hope I have made this clear. The outer hoop just refused to tighten, it just kept slipping.
